Interestingly sleek take on the grizzly spectrum. Similar shape to some of the Aeros. I'm always wary that 'hair on hide' would wear off and look bad, though I suspect it's more durable than I fear or there wouldn't be so many of the high-end makers prepared to put it out under their name.

Having seen some worn ones, there is some hair loss. At some point, you just have to shave the whole thing [emoji14]

I think the hair on hide Grizzlies are really nice looking, it's much less out there than the mouton ones.

They're a different beast, really, in terms of construction: hir on hide is, in effect, a regular leather jacket with a different type of hide, whereas on a mouton grizzly, the mouton panels are separate pieces, *not* mouton stitched on top of leather (there is no leather underneath them).

It's a really sleek and nice looking jacket but I just can't come to terms with that fur business. Noticeably superb workmanship on this jacket. Perfectly made.

I really like this jacket. The chest pocket angle is pretty aggressive but it works. These just look so rockabilly to me and I like that vibe. Be hard to wear on a daily basis but when when it's time to rock out with your .... hair out. It'd fit the bill.

I like it a lot; my Ryder gets lots of wear in winter.

Just wish Stu would use a tea-core black leather though.

I had an Aero "Palimino" grizzly about 10 years ago that I bought on ebay .... it was no different to wear than a regular jacket TBH. The issue was that the hair on hide "moulted" leaving baldish patches ... not totally bald but thin :(

I like the subtle nature of the black "hair on" hide better than the palomino which was a bit full on :(. I took a little bit of "positive feedback" every time I wore it TBH which I didn't mind. I love Stu's quality but those chest zip pulls look a little bit too much like nipple tassels for my liking ( just saying ) ....... without the pockets that would be a storming jacket :)

Loving the two piece sleeve and strap adjusters on the cuffs ..... you have to admire Stu's quality ... it's awesome :)

Yeah you know you've got a life long darkest night black in a LW. But if this were to brown up with age...I'm just going to say it. God tier.

Funnily enough, that's something that would really appeal to me about the LW jackets. I like my brown to patina, but black is always best if it stays well black.

I think that's his best looking jacket. I wonder how a slightly different toned leather would look in lieu of the hair on the panels. A full-blown two tone may be too much, but with all of these hair falling off trepidations, that's where my mind would be if I were to order.

I admit, if I had million of monies, I'd pay for a new LW. Maybe even this jacket except for the fur because I really don't know how to justify it.

It's not really fur it's hair... when you say fur other images come to the mind.
What would you replace the cow-hair panels with?
