I used to say, "I could care less" when I meant "I couldn't care less". I also used to say, "For god sakes" instead of "For god's sake".

Yes, that one makes me nuts. If you could care less, then you care! Kind of defeats the point of saying it.

Another one I am hearing more and more, even on network TV is the misusage of went and gone. "He should have went to the store". Argh.

That gets compounded for me when people say (and write) "He should of went to the store" it's not of, it's have, he should have gone to the store.

I cannot begin to tell you how much it...I won't say it because it'll probably get me banned...whenever I see people do that. I'm sorry, but the MOMENT I see someone type that, I immediately wonder if they passed primary school. Because it's a mistake that nobody should make. My opinion of their intelligence just PLUMMETS.

My dad used to say that. He also used wrasslin for wrestling and berler for boiler.

This is one that you often hear on television, during those god-awful TV spots for new products or competitions for vacations or whatever.

It gets worse, now bonus is a verb. Local Gold coin shop: "If we buy $100.00 of your old gold, we will bonus you $10.00 to pay for your gas."

This is an interesting phenomenon called metathesis, and it has been going on for a long time. The famous example is butterfly, which was originally much more appropriately called flutterby.

You're very lucky, then. I know lots of adults who say it. Somehow it bothers me more than "kindeegarden" and "spurghetti"; but not as much as "boughten" instead of "bought".

I hear the words bafroom and axe for ask, at my work.

Heres a new one, today I heard the word either to mean both. "He took pictures of either hand." Should be: "He took pictures of both hands."

And one of the worst is nookyalar, for nuclear.

I also hate "I seen it."
