Finally found my old pocket watch in a well overdue cleanup.

Looking back I can't believe I was 13 when I bought this.

Nothing special, but it served me well all though Uni. Lots of watches since...

Looks like a nice old daily carry watch. Is that a 17-jewel Swiss movement?

I wish I had the brains to have acquired pocket watches when I was 13. They were practically being given away back in those days.

GREAT watches guys! I've been wearing this 1941 Bauhaus Longines of late. It's a little guy, 30mm. UPDATE: Here's a wrist shot I just took with my vintage Whippet in the background... :D

NICE pilot Talbot! It this a Time Factors watch? Speedbird III? I've been wanting one but just never pulled the trigger. One day :D GREAT looking watch!

^^^^^A beautiful piece, wear it well!

While not quite Vintage I'd been looking for an IWC MkXI for a while. Wound up getting this instead:

A well built homage watch.

Very nice looking watch. As you can see from my post further up, I'm a big fan of simple "clean" faces on watches - like your.

Thanks Fading Fast! Bauhaus is my new favorite! Before this design I LOVED and still do the streamling deco of the 30's. Gruen Curvex's are my all time favorite vintage watch. I especially LOVE the long ones 50mm and 52mm. They are BEAUTIES!
