A couple of yrs ago I bid at auction on one of those big stagecoach minibars sold by Wayfair, I think. I didn’t get it. Recently while in a basement storage room I noticed this old toy box I had forgotten about. Still need to figure out where I want to set it up in the house before I fill the cabin with my crystal ships whiskey classes. This will be my mini bar for open bottles of Tequila & Rum. I can hear Jimmy Buffett & Kenny Cheney playing in the background now.

I added this painted skull to my 'cantina'.
I think it adds a cool look.
Admittedly the strongest thing I have drank lately is ginger ale!!!!
But I still really enjoy the vibes from the room!

Not really off topic, the first post didn't mention alcohol. Here's the coffee bar I built for my daughter using all recycled wood. The top box is an old mold from a torn down foundry in Cincinnati. The frame and legs are from 100+ y.o. old growth timber from joists and the drawers are vintage industrial modified to fit. The marble top is scrap cut, edged and polished. It was a fun project to complete - no plans, just adapt as you go. As shown, it's become quite the conversation piece when their friends come over.

Looks great.

We’re coffee addicts in this house, such that a broken-down espresso machine is an emergency.

Our current machine (we’re on our third now) occupies a section of countertop next to the stove. It’s a good place for it.

It’s all the better that it is about two steps away from the kitchen sink. These things can get messy and the water tank on the machine needs frequent refilling. A nearby water source (and a drain) is a huge plus.
