Hi gtdean48. I am looking for a size 44R.
What are the buttons on waist of the jacket like (not sure what they are called - they are used to make the waist smaller). On the older jackets they are like buttons - not metal studs like on the front of the jacket.
I'm glad that this thread has just been revived. Can anyone help me date this Storm Rider. I just bought it from eBay for the princely sum of £2 ( just over $3). It doesn't really matter to me that it might not be too old as I want it for everyday wear and it will tide me over until I find something of a better vintage I've searched FL and used Google but I cannot find when Lee used the red pocket logo. The description says he "thinks" it is 80's production but all online pics I have found have the usual Lee pocket logo.
Any help anyone?
Ian Morris’s favourite is the Storm Rider jacket, first introduced 60 years ago, which has a corduroy collar and cuffs, and a blanket lining.
I think several kinds of jacket went under the "Storm Rider" label, didn't they? Rather than just one modified over the years.
