I picked up this one on ebay for not too much. I'm very satisfied with the quality. The leather is thick and heavy, which I could tell by the way it draped in the photos, and the stitching is neat and well done. Seems to be built on the same pattern as Levi's, basically a direct copy. The lining is polyester.
The label is German, and reads:
I tried googling Eghaus-Pak Industries, but found nothing at all -- very odd. I assume that the jacket was made in Pakistan for a German market. Although a lot of leather made in Pakistan is cheap and not very good quality, I've been impressed by certain exceptions to the rule. Not Aero quality, but still very good and for the $135 I paid, a great bargain. I watched a genuine Levi's go for more than $700 a week earlier.
These photos are from the seller's listing, and the leather is a darker brown in person than it appears here:
The buttons had quite a bit of built-up coppery green wax on them, which I had to wipe off so it wouldn't stain my shirt. My assumption is the leather has a waxy finish, which rubs off on the buttons and oxidized them. I wonder if anyone might recognize the design on the buttons.
