Langlitz leather horsehide

hello gentleman
I recently spot a langlitz cascade padded, horsehide jacket on a local store. The store put on the local auction which I don't know if I can get it tommarow. I see the jacket today and it is soft and beautiful . It's a shame langlitz doesn't offer horsehide option anymore and the price tag is way too high for me. I thought I would share some of the photos to the lounger .

I was disappointed with the leather samples that I received from Langlitz. IMHO, they were rather uninspiring. I agree that Langlitz' HH was preferable.

Yeah, it's pretty awesome looking. Likely way too much money, but I love it.

That is a stunning jacket. I wish they still offered horse. I think the upgrade was around 2k, which means I would never be able to get one anyway. It does look nice though. I wonder how much it will sell for?

Follow up with the price when the auction closes. Sometimes you can get them cheaper than you might think. It just depends on who's bidding. I just picked up a goatskin Cascade for just north of $500. It was made in 2011, hardly worn, and fits like it had been measured for me. I immediately wanted another in a heavier skin, but the goatskin is excellent. I just love the way heavier weight steer or horse feels.

Well the owner said he purchased for 3500 in 2009, don't know if that is true , never owned a langlitz before, Right now the auc is still going, but anything goes more than 1500 is behind my reached.

...the hell? It's nice but it's not that nice. You could buy a very decent bike for that!

It sounds about right I think. I'm pretty sure it was a 2k or there abouts upgrade for horse. So that might be about right if you add the charge for all the padding, and $50 each stripe. It adds up pretty quick. The horse looks great, but I think I would rather get 2 Langlitz, one goat, one cow for that money....
