I talked to Langlitz about samples today.

Mentioned Tommer's Jacket.

Get this, they said they wished he'd take those pix down! Joking of course.

They're tired of answering they don't have that color basically.

They acknowledged what we all know, you got to have balls as big as pickle jars to do that to a brand new $1000 jacket!

The goat is really top grade, but it wont get a patina like the steer....but will look new forever, which is not necessarily a bad thing in its own right.

All true but the part about it looking new forever. It changes quite a bit actually.

What does everyone think about getting the padding? Shoulder, elbows etc. I ordered mine with shoulders and elbows, but I thinking that the elbows might be enough. Although if I lay it down...will wish I had both.

When I ride, I use a full suit with high density padding (Areostich made mine). If you're going to use your leather jacket as the your primary riding jacket, you might want to consider it. It's not high density padding their using in those jackets, though. I ride in a leather jacket sometimes but it's not my primary go-riding gear.
