My chest is 43-44 and this fits close. The goatskin is soft and pliable yet extremely sturdy. The fit should be close for safety on a motorcycle. But, a chest 40-42 would work, depending on individual fit preference.

And would you please confirm the waist, the sleeve measurements straight from shoulder seam to cuff, across the biceps and wrist zipped.
