Up for sale is this great Lake O' Woods Half Belt. Someone might be able to tell me if it's from the 30's or 40's but I believe it may be 30's. The Ponyhide is excellent and the stitching quality is the best I've seen on any jacket and so it has held up extremely well for nearly 100 years having no issues at all. It feels really solid. They really don't make them like they used to. The measurements are as follows:

P2P: 21.5"
Shoulder: 18.75"
Back 23.25"
Sleeve: 24"
Waist: 19.5"

I'm asking for what I paid plus shipping. $325 USD. Shipping from Canada

Here are some photos so you can really see what a treat this vintage item is. A few problems with the lining but not major at this point.

UPDATE: I'm getting a lot of interest. The sale is postponed until a fellow lounger I'm communicating with gets a chance to try it on. He will take it if it fits him. Perhaps the Sportclad as well. He messaged me first and just so happens to not live too far from me. That's happening Monday night. There's a lineup after that. Looking forward to finding this beauty it's future home!

What's your height/weight?

I'm still new to leather, this looks really beat. But I assume this is a great vintage brand?
Those photos are from a couple years ago. The jacket still fits me in the body now and I'm 185lb 6ft 3. But movement isn't great anymore and the sleeves ride pretty high when reaching. That was a problem before at my height but it's worse now. I think I was 155lb roughly in the photos. By beat I'm not sure if you meant to type great? It is definitely both those things, but in the best of ways. Aside from the Langlitz Cascade I moved along recently this is the best wear on a jacket I've owned and perhaps even seen. Was Lake O' Woods great? Judging from this example yes. The quality of craftsmanship exceeds even the Freewheeler's jackets I've owned in many respects and the texture of the Ponyhide is superb. Perfectly soft and pliable still after nearly 100 years and no cracks. The stitching is psychotically good and super tight SPI. I've conditioned the jacket myself which the leather soaked up enthusiastically and that left it visually unaltered as I chose the right conditioner. There are a whole bunch of incredibly thoughtful details on the jacket which are very much appreciated when handling such as the soft cotton pockets and a strip of what seems like an almost Nylon esque cotton along the inside of the collar for structure and support. Very smart.

Interesting grain contrast in back panels. Similar to my 1930s pony!! Love these classics

Could you post a picture of label. My store label came off and only clue is dimensions of stitching. Looks like same pony leather tag??
