Here’s a knife that ended up in my family probably more than 50 plus years ago… found by someone my mother knew who had found a small cache of weapons in attic of the house they bought and was worried about her kids finding them. Luckily my mum didn’t have those worries

This khukuri dates to about the mid to late 1800’s although I’ve never gotten it sharpened, so I guess it’s just pointy.

Aaah, finally the No.8 olive wood! And funnily this time sharp enough out of the box!

Is this grain pattern beautiful, or what?? Although they are all very different, so you just have too choose.
Now, my triumvirat Oak-Walnut-Olive is complete. :)

And it came out, that my not much loved Walther EDK (440 C) is however really uncomplicated to resharpen, now that I can use a 1.000 grain and a 4.000 grain waterstone! Now it has a really useful sharpness. I didn't expect that from a usual Walther/Umarex knife, I tell you.
