I’ve had quite a few over the years. This one is my keeper. Bison Bushcraft (Roger Harrington) woodsman knife.

Does big jobs and small. Blade is shortish (9cm I think), which i like. Good for carving. Good leverage, the tip on 12cm blades exerts too much pressure when using extra force. It’s EDC legal, but I only take it to the woods, camping, etc.

Wanted a Ray Mears woodlore knife for years and years. Finally got to the top of the waiting list and declined as that knife is all I need.

The 154cm steel is a bloody ba***rd to sharpen though!

I have these Randall's in my care right now. They belonged to a late friend whose wife now wants to sell them.

I believe they are (according to my online research:
No.14 Attack 7.5"
No.1 All Purpose 8"
Model 16 Diver 7"
Model 18 Survival 5.5"
Model 18 Survival 7.5"

Prices vary A LOT.

They must all be at least 20 years old, he died 10 years ago at 75 so...

Your assistance in relating your experiences with these things would be valuable to me.

Ya that one needs a new blade. It’s a CQC8. I would send it in to Emerson but I’m in Canada. There would be an issue getting it back into Canada unless it was disassembled. Emerson usually has the CQC8 in stock. You can only order through Emerson on his site.
