I imagine that my generation's Randall Attack Knife #9 is long retired. Enduring quality.
Nice work, very nice indeed. The #14 and #18 Randal Attack models are still being made. Nice designs even today. Long from being retired.

The last two I made for my own use. Double edged fighters, based again, on Randal designs for the most part. Lower blade design idea was my take of an early SOG recon by Ben Baker, who again, used Randal #1, #2 and #14 as inspiration for his ow CISO/SOG/CIA knife designs. Both (most) of mine are 1/4" stainless stock, with 7.5" blades. Canvas micarta handles, double hilts of nickel silver, which are silver soldered to full tangs, with no tang showing. Nice weapon. How long is the blade?New RUI K-25 with titanium coating! I've been on the hunt to find this one ever since I saw it in a movie. Took a few YEARS to finally make the ID.

What movie?

Nice looking blade, I like the shape, but why do they cut these useless blood grooves in a knife? Thanks! The blade is 7.75 inches, and the movie was Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
I like collecting knives, but in order to focus that collection, I particularly like to collect knives that catch my eye in movies, and this one had a really unique blade.
This reminds me of the second generation AK47 bayonetsNew RUI K-25 with titanium coating! I've been on the hunt to find this one ever since I saw it in a movie. Took a few YEARS to finally make the ID.
I think it's to reduce the weight of the knife. The blade is already pretty heavy.Nice looking blade, I like the shape, but why do they cut these useless blood grooves in a knife?
I've been told the hole in the blade is so that the knife can be converted into a bayonet. This reminds me of the second generation AK47 bayonets
The hole (size and shape) in the knife is to attach the scabbard to , so it converts into a wire cutter. Note where the serrations are on your knife and compare to the attached pix. If your scabbard doesn't look like the pix, you were robbed.I think it's to reduce the weight of the knife. The blade is already pretty heavy.

Ahhhh, that makes much more sense. Thanks! The hole (size and shape) in the knife is to attach the scabbard to , so it converts into a wire cutter. Note where the serrations are on your knife and compare to the attached pix. If your scabbard doesn't look like the pix, you were robbed.

Also the hole in the bolster, won't fit any rifle I know of, so as a bayonet it's pretty useless
I love the tooling on the leather.
Do you tool leather yourself?I love the tooling on the leather.
