I like linen micarta. Couple of decades back I spent some time building knives just over 100 knives. They all had full tangs, nickel silver hilts and stainless blades. This pair are 7 and 7.5".

Thanks Bowen. All good here. Bought my first Randal back in the '70s. Still have a few. Thought they were good enough to copy Fun to play with the weight and balance when making your own. But hard to beat a Randall #1, #2 or a 14.

I 'fashioned' the knife on the bottom from a Swiss bayonet. I call it the Bowie Defender!

I don't know if kitchen knives are on topic, although these two knives are the sharpest thing in our household.
The knives are made by Benjamin Kamon, a young bladesmith from Austria. Handles are made of Desert Iron Wood and wrought iron. I really enjoy using these knives every day in our kitchen!

My search continues for the perfect EDC.....this Buck knife ain't it. The thumb screw sits too low to be of use and overall it is just too stiff to be of any great use. Looks good but still my little Case spring assist is the one I continue to carry. The search will continue.....
