Now that I am seeing more pics, I am even more annoyed by her hair. Yes, women only went to the beauty shop once a week for their set - but that meant they tried to keep their set in shape all week! You put it in pin curls or at least a net to sleep in, and you always had it neat and generally netted in the public. Don't forget, there was no such thing as hairspray! Any gal in that era with hair that wild would be looked at funny. Modern movie people just don't do their research it seems.
