Does anyone know where this phrase "Keep Calm and Carry On" came from and what it relates to, I can only assume it was from WW2?
Yes it is. I notice hipsters love the phrase and variations on it.Actually, now it's absolutely everywhere, it's a bit annoying. Hey ho.
i've got a buddy who has this stenciled on his kitchen wall. When the kids are being nuts and freaking out, he's been known to slam his hands on the table and scream the phrase at his wife. Frank costanza- style.
If you do a bit of knitting I'd say it is entirely appropriate.I have a mug with this on it.....and am considering purchasing a yarn bag that says 'keep calm and carry yarn'...
Does this mean I am now somehow a hipster?
