It's a Stetson Carson with 4 3/8 Crown and (most probably) 3.5 inch brim or cut shorter. I had one in 20X natural felt and still have one in Shantung 10x. Great hat design.

That is the one Dave at the Garland Outlet store said it was with a trimmed brim...

The bands are very common. I got one at HatCo Outlet store in Garland but lots of western hat websites have them like NRS = http://www.nrsworld.com/store/0234648!M&F/1/2"+Tan+Basketweave+Hat

I used a Resistol but the Stetson Carson is the model Dave at the Outlet stores told us was used for the actual one.

I read an article the other day that Elmore Leonard doesn't like the hat they use for Raylan Givens. Apparently, he envisioned a Stetson Open road for the character. He didn't specify that in the short story, "Fire in the Hole", though. Instead he described the hat and the one they use does match that description. Anyway, this old BOP would have been a great compromise. The look of the Open Road with a little more size for the western effect.

I think you could take the belts that Tom referenced above with many hats other than the Carson and feel entirely "Justified."

Hat Country and the one of FX shop is a 4X.
Hatband is not the one used on TV Series...

I was about to write that I don't know the difference between a 3x and a 4x wool. I only own 2 wool hats, one a XX premium Resistol and the other I don't know it's quality. Something has to be for the $45 difference.

Associating it with the hit TV show! Funny thing is the hat on the show is a Carson in Silverbelly not Ranch Tan (Dave at Garland Outlet store supplied them to the wardrobe dept). Actual hat in Elmore Leonard books is an Open Road...
