Just scored a Vanson Model B competition weight

I'm pretty excited. I just paid for a new without tags black Vanson Model B I their competition weight leather. It's a size 42 which may be a touch loose on me...not sure. My suit size is 40 and the Schott 530 that I just bought in medium fits perfectly snug. We'll see. It was such a bargain, I couldn't pass it up. $240 including shipping.

Fingers crossed for the fit! The B does not run small, so with a regular size 40 you will have room to layer for sure.
Great jacket in any event. As good as it gets for an everyday piece.

I figure it may be a touch looser than the Schott, but man I can't wear much other than a shirt under the Schott.
