This is a great overcoat. The color is hard to see on a computer and fully appreciate, but it is kind of a teal or turquoise. It has a light brown, darker brown and lighter teal threads running through it in a wondow pane fabric.
It is a really pretty and unusual color that is sure to get noticed and appreciated.
It is a little fuzzy, but worn just a little but in some spot to it is not quite as fuzzy. But hardly worn through or anything like that.
The style is a more sporty raglan sleeve style. It gives you a more jaunty casual look. The look dates back to maybe the twenties through the fifties I am guessing. This one is probably forties or so. The tag says Cutter Craft.
The sleeves have cuffs. There is one seam where the sleeve attachs to the cuff that will need a few stitches. No holes and the bluish lining is in good shape and the underarms are good too with no missing stitches. The left pocket is ripped at the bottom so it will need a repair there too.
The shoulder style fits more loosely so it will fit more variation of size, and guys with bigger shoulders should have no problem.
This style looks great with both suits and such, or casual clothes such as over a sweater of dress shirt.
I am a size 38 and it is slightly big on me without a suit, and a good fit but long with a jacket under it. The inside pocket says size 37 but I would say it would be more appropriate as a size 38-40 long. 40-42 if you will not be wearing a suit jacket under it.
The chest measures 23 inches across, the shoulders are 21 inches, but with the raglan sleeve it is not as exact a point. The sleeves are 27 inches shoulder to cuff and 17 inches arm pit to cuff. The arm pit is of course, lower than a suit. The length is 50 inches back of neck to bottom of back.
I picked this up because the color is so unusual and cool. Yo uwill love it and it will keep you very warm.
The price is $40 bucks plus ten shipping.
