My wife and I buy and sell antiques. We do not dabble much in vintage clothing. However, every once in awhile we run into something and yesterday was one of those. I would love to hear any feedback you might have. Thanks and appreciate this forum.

Can I ask what you paid for it? Have you googled the label? Was there anyone who resembled this individual on the vicinity?

You have no chance to sell this jacket here. Try it on eBay
I am simply trying to get some feedback as to exactly what we have. In this quest Fedora Lounge was strongly recommended, but it seems like the responses so far seem more bothered by my post than helpful. I have actually enjoyed reading past posts about leather jackets, vintage hats and other items. If I belonged to a forum that was along my expertise I would be more than happy to welcome a newcomer and be happy to help and advise.

I find your jacket pretty cool, it's the holy grail of jackets. Sadly I do not know much about it other than it's a cool *** rare jacket. Don't be let down by the actions of 1 forum member get to you.

Terry posted a link to an eBay auction of an identical jacket. That should give you the basic infos. It is one of those vintage jackets that actually fall into the "collectable" category and is probably worth money to someone. Depends hugely on condition and size how much.

It's a 40's Beck Northeaster Flying Togs, one of the rarest most valuable jackets in collector's world.
Its indeed a grail Jacket.
May have been made by Schott or Leathertogs.
It looks to be made in Goatskin, and in a pretty good condition.
It's a high budget item (2000+).
You found a treasure in that cardboard box.

What are the measurements of the jacket?

Thank you very much. I was just frustrated, but still determined. Goatskin seems to be rare in these jackets.

The measurements were actually the same as the one Terry forwarded from EBay. 22” sleeve length. Pit to pit 19”. Shoulder to shoulder 17.5”. Back length 20.75”

I added more pics that I had taken. The details I am aware of through my own research are an asymmetrical Crown main zipper, goatskin leather, zippered D pocket with coin/lighter pocket., Army-Navy E pin. Leather has no tears or repairs. Was a one owner jacket.

I saw your post of this jacket in the sales classifieds. Do you know why the moderators deleted your ad?

Perhaps you misunderstood my post. Continue to enjoy chatting on this forum.

Yes, because I have to have 20 posts. I did not know that when I posted the jacket in classifieds. So I asked Harris if I could post asking for feedback about the jacket the jacket do I could understand better what we have. Then I read your snarky post and got a little frustrated.
