John lofgren S&S black cat Sz 9

Hi TFL,

I’m selling my John lofgren collab with S&S M43 boots size 9. Boots are unlined black rough-out Japanese steerhide, tanned in Himeji.
These have barely been worn and since they are not making it into my rotation, I’d figure I’ll give someone else a chance to enjoy them. These are from the original release a few years back. I’ve heard the newly released boots have had minor issues like squeaking when walking and some leather issues, I assure you that these boots do not have any of those issues. Don’t have original box. Are these the older run that fit one down from brannock or are they the newer half size down sizing rec? Also can you post a pic of the heel wear? Thanks!

Yes this is the older run. I don’t think they fit a full size down. I find them to be only half size from brannock. I’m a 9.5 brannock and these fit like a glove. I also have the donkey punchers in a 8.5 and lofgren engineers in a 9. Red wing im a 9 as well. Hope these sizing reference help.

Ah I see. I’ve tried on the combat boots before and I would need a 9 in those. I tried on a 8.5 as recommended but fit was off for me. Found the 9 to fit me best. Are you a 9 in anything else?
