JFK's black leather jacket

On tonights Antiques Road show a black leather jacket, reportedly owned by JFK, was featured on the program. Valued at £2-300K......a lot for a pretty fugly jacket!

Looks like a TKMaxx mall jacket IMHO If he has the provenance definitely sell it and buy a wardrobe full of Aero's or whatever is your favourite maker. Were I to be shown this ahem! Iconic piece, I would mumble a low key "Nice"

Guess anything with famous persons names involved puts a premium on a value. What next? JFKs slippers or Jackie's bra? Indeed someone in the UK bought a toilet Hitler used

the story was that he left the jacket with a girlfriend in the south of France - he returned to the USA and married Jackie. Surprised by the high valuation for a relatively obscure piece though.
