Is it just me or does that look like a A2 with the pockets higher up?

To me Stone's jacket (note that I rely on pictures as I do not have an A2 so I cannot give the most reliable opinion) looks like it was made of suede and it also looks lighter than an A2.

THE UNTOUCHABLES costumes were period inaccurate in many details, but they gave a strong sense of the period. If that was the filmmakers' intent, then they succeeded. :eusa_clap

Oddly enough, I've always felt the same about Indiana Jones

I agree. Indy's adventuring gear is definitely period accurate for the 1930s IMO. His fedora is a pre-war one and his jacket is a modified A2.
