We've been married 13 years, and we both love vintage and history.
We prefer older classic movies. For music, almost all we listen to is old Texas & western swing, 1940s big band, or Frank Sinatra/Rat Pack. We used to do WWII reenacting, and we still collect a lot of 1930s-1950s "stuff" of all sorts. He doesn't wear vintage on a daily basis, but always dresses very nicely (even on weekends) - dress pants, button-down shirt, tie, sportcoat & pocket square, etc. I typically dress modern, but I would say I dress vintage (or vintage-inspired) probably 20% of the time. We both enjoy our little 1950s ranch house and working in our garden & hanging laundry on the clothesline. There are other aspects of vintage-style living that we embrace, but in the interest of keeping this reply short, I think it is safe to say we both feel as though we were born in the wrong era.
