Looks just like the one I had. Wish I still had it too. Color looks almost denim, mine was black, I'm thinking it's the photo and not the real color. Wear it in good health.

I'd say yes...

it's real enough. I have a theory as to why it looks the way it does. The wax has been washed off!
These old jackets are often dirty and have a musty smell especially if they have been stored somewhere cold like a garage or loft.
The answer is to give it a spin in the washing machine. I've done it with great success with an old Trialmaster I bought a few years ago. I'd guess this one has had a hard wash in warm or hot water the result being the loss of wax. I used a delicate cold wash with only a tiny amount of soap and virtually none of the wax was washed lost so I didn't need to re-wax.
As David said give it a re-wax and it'll be as good as new. There's endless info on this subject on the internet.
It's in my opinion it's the best all round jacket to wear on a motorcycle (especially if you ride old bikes).
I use mine in mostly cold weather with this combination, thin warm layers and a snug fitting A-2. With the Trialmaster over the top this gives me all the wind block I need and a reasonable amount of water resistance.
Looking at the picture it's a good one that still has it's original belt. The design has never been bettered...

I agree. My Belstaff Trialmaster jacket and pants had a red tufted lining and I wore them on my motorcycle all through the Winter with no problems.
