... unfortunatelly ... the size selection [is] very limitted (I could only find two jackets both size 40).
This chritizism is a bit unfair, I think. They write it on their website:

Please note that we only have size 40 made and measured as yet. Other sizes are being made at the moment and the sizing chart will be updated as soon as we have the other sizes to hand...

VERY nice jacket, btw. :D

Sorry Don, I was not intending to criticize, I am a Iron Heart fan, love their heavy denim. It was merely a personal observation and comparison to the Aero jacket I recently received. I have to admit that I didn't read the disclaimer at the bottom of the website.

I was wondering when this collaboration would happen...

Always seemed on the cards; Will and the IronHeart guy were pally for a long time, which afaik was how the brief Aero-Ironheart project came about (if memory serves, that was a couple of Aero models with some IH tocuhes to them including much chunkierz zips than would be the norm on an Aero).

It looks nice, similar to the Aero Sheene from Thursten Brothers whith a different back...

Yes, it would seem to be a logical move... it's clear there's a market out there for people who want a Highwayman-type design with very clean, simple lines, but with a much neater fit. Action back aside (a sensible feature if you like jackets this tight), it is a lot like a zip-sleeve Highwayman with a much neater cut.

The Ventile lining is a nice touch although I would have thought that the horsehide was sufficiently wind and waterproof.

Agree. While I prefer my racers with their traditional collar, that jacket still looks quite great and if you want the cafe racer simplicity with a "real" collar, then there is nothing wrong with that. I appreciate that there isn't as major of a price premium from IH as I would have expected.
