About a year ago when I received my LW goatskin Suburban I also received an stunning jewel that I wait until now to introduce it to the FL.
It's my Night Rider Variation version of the legendary Trojan MC jacket by Lost Worlds
Here are the details:
- 1940s/50s Trojan MC Night Rider Variation in 3.5 OZ Navy Blue and Russet Horsehide.
- Size 40 with 24.5 inches sleeves, 25. inches body length.
-Standard zipper sleeves ( Scovill old brass #5)with Russet snap button cuffs.
-D Pocket and pocket facing in Russet, as well as the back center panel.
Leather lined outside pockets ( Scovill old brass #5 zippers), one standard inside pocket, moleskin lined with matching Navy Blue HH facing.
-Jacket lined in Royal Blue heavy satin nylon.
-Genuine Lost World, and Trojan labels.
-3 inches double leather on bottom hem.
-Detachable genuine antique rust brown lamb shearling mouton collar, over Navy Blue HH.
-Antique brass NOS Talon #9 zipper.
-OD dark blue thread for all seams.
Beltless.
The jacket fit, workmanship, materials and attention to detail is simple outstanding.
An absolute instant classic.

That jacket looks great!!! The combination of colors is really nice.

I have a regular Trojan I got a few years ago and I wear it a good bit when riding. LW makes great jackets and the 4 MM Horse is very comfortable once it breaks in. One may wonder if the lack of snaps makes for flapping in the wind. I can say with this jacket design and thickness of horsehide it does not happen even with all the vents open.

Here's a shot the wife made after a ride through the backroads of Eastern Tennessee.

Oh and one more thing Damn nice looking Triumph!!!

The real shearling mutton collar is key, I had a Schott perfecto and bought the "mutton collar" off eBay and I couldn't believe how cheap and worthless it was. When I have the money I'm getting a LW Suburban.

I concur with all you said!
I remember seen those pics of you your Trojan and your HD, awesome!
Thanks about the Triumph!

Wow! That is GORGEOUS! Enjoy it in good health.

Brian

Thank you Brian!

Unnreal jacket! Damn. lol
Thx for posting it.

Thank you Scott!

I think blue is the new black. Great jacket, enjoy!

In reality Brown is the new Black, the Blue are very scarce these days in this high end quality jacket. However it's an incredible color IMHO!

Wow! Lost Worlds delivers another fine jacket!

I think the color combination looks very cool.

Thank you Sir!

Good morning Coffee;
Thank you very much for your kind comments Sir!!!
Those pics are in the vicinity of the Kern River back in May.
Terrific area for riding bikes with friends out there.

Hello
Outstanding looking jacket. I really want a navy blue leather jacket now.

I had the totally wrong impression of all horsehide before seeing this... they all looked like crumpled up tin foil but this looks amazing!

I wonder how much cow compares to horse in this kind of jacket? Smoothness?

Thanks for the compliment Sir!
I can't answer that question because I don't have a blue cow jacket, I have heavy steerhide jackets, but IMHO they can't compare to horsehide specially from LW.
