Inspired by fashion illustrations

My first thought when I saw this illustration...

Was that I have almost everything in that picture...in my closet!

Here I am trying hard to look like an old AA illustration:

I like it. I wear the grey and brown to work all the time, though many think they don't work together... screw 'em. I like the look.

I wore it to work and got a lot of compliments. I was even told I looked like Indiana Jones in the beginning of the movie when he's teaching at the university!

I love the brown and grey look, too. I have to admit, though, that I'd never thought of pairing it with blue before. (Shirt, tie and sweater vest are all blue). It works nicely, IMO.

Excellent look! I would like to see a little more contrast between the jacket and the pants, but that is just nit-picking. You put it all together extraordinarily well.

Actually, I agree with you. The illustration has light grey trousers and I think it looks better.
