Wish something like this came to Chicago but I understand that teamsters and 20 below make my fine city less than appealing for such an event. Great photos and info. Can't even imagine what it would be like to shop in the flesh for this stuff. Amazing I'm sure!

As much as I'd love to say that I enjoyed the whole show, the truth is that I got into a conversation with John Chapman and David Himel that lasted 3 hours. These guys rock! and what an experience.
I did wisk around the rest of the show quickly, and it was like being 5 and left alone in the toy store.
Other highlights for me were Role Club, Monsavis caps, Lewis Leathers, Dehen, Julian boots and a booth that offered 100 year old work shirts (jaw dropper). I missed Whitefeather and Mastersons though...Great people, great gear, and way too many vintage jackets.
If you ever get the chance, go!

lol have been eyeing it, actually, but my financial situation doesn't allow me to have the exact same jacket I already have, only in different colour. It barely allows for a can of red paint...

Bah, I couldn't afford any of these lovely jackets on those photos above. I should just quit this game and find a more affordable hobby. Like drinking. That was some good times. I think..?

Guys, I am sooooooo sorry!! I knew Ben was at Dave's both today and, when I saw the photo on Dave's Instagram, I assumed it was Ben. I have seen your photos before and should have known better. I'm really sorry about my absent minded mix-up. I corrected my original post.

Anyhow, the Griz looks good on you Dude. Did either of you pull the trigger (either with Himel or elsewhere)?

Haha no worries at all man I totally get it. I just find it funny because you posted this and bunyip called me ben on the same pic on instagram :D

I did not have the funds available and this particular jacket was a tad small on me, but this is no question going to be my next jacket. Thank goodness I now have a good job and can afford it soon :)

Going there I never even thought of trying on this jacket. I tried it on a whim, and even my fiance said I pulled it off. I can't believe how much I love it. David is the coolest. He certainly doesn't hide his emotions or opinions and I love that about him. I wish I had had more time to talk to him. My pennies are being saved as we speak.

Craig, the sincerity of your apology is too funny. I don't mind it at all, dude is a handsome fella.

No triggers pulled at this years Inspiration... I think that the Himels are definitely awesome jackets. But somehow, when I tried them on, I just didn't feel like they were something I *needed*.

Dave is a funny guy. He does not hide options, you're certainly right on that one!
