Great look gentlemen.

Rooster, I'm glad I finally saw this picture.

I'm considering a repro of this jacket made for North Africa in artex. Now that I have an idea of how it looks on a person, I can make a decision.

tight

Those are the official dimensions on the label you see there but in real terms just a bit tight on me, and I take a 42, yet I comfortably take 36 in a Cooper A2 so I reckon about a 40, if you want exact feet and inches I'll take some measurements tomorrow and send them on

Thanks but that's a tad bit tiny for me. However, there may be someone on the Lounge who is this size and interested .

The Americans made a jacket that was a cross between the BD and the M41, some units landed in it at D-Day, I have a WPG repro that I wear as a winter jacket, this thing is heavy and fully lined. Very interesting.

I have a SM Wholesale (Hintington Park) Tanker repro for sale (size 40 but fits bigger - will do 42 easily). Used for re-enactment so a bit of wear and washed a few times but still good. It's lost some of its SM 'green-ness' but the slant pockets haven't moved a bit...

PM me if interested.

Alan
