Long story short... I used a different factory for some hats from Cuenca. I ordered 40 hats. Three weeks later I receive 82 hats and a bill that is more than twice what it is suppoesed to be. When I called the man, he said that he sent me some samples. Funny, I paid the mail for his hats, received a bill for them, and he tells me they are samples. I explained to him that I lived in Ecuador and was on to his typical Ecuadorian ways of getting more money from someone. No apologies needed. Uds. Ecuatorianos saben de que estoy hablando. Back to hats, the worst part...every single hat that I ordered came up about size 60, 7 1/2. I ordered one dozen 58, one dozen 59, and one dozen 60. In fine fashion, I want to say Ecaudorian fashion but won't in honor of the Mrs., he says that it is my decision if he errored and not his (NOT MY FAULT, he means!) and that I can return the hats. I'll give him the $$$ total needed to send the hats back tomorrow and then see what he says. I will not pay one red cent for his errors. As many of you know, I pay for the errors of one Ecuadorian and that is enough.
