Not "golden era" but a funny story regardless.

I had just punched the timeclock at work and was heading up to my department.
An older fella stops me on the stairs and says, "Hey, have you ever heard of Conway Twitty" (those who know me are already chuckling, those who don't, I'm a HUGE Conway Twitty fan)
I reply "Yes, he's my favorite singer"
He told me "I've been wanting to tell you since you started working here (couple years ago) that you are the spitting image of Conway"
I thanked him and went on my way. I get told I look like Mr. Harold Lloyd Jenkins on a regular basis.
