ID help "Ameco" Jacket

found this jacket a couple of years ago but don't have any clue about Age or any Details

considering shape of sleeves 'n shoulder area i guess the jacket is from about the 1960ies / 80ies

anyone any idea




print says "AMECO MAID" (not "MADE" but "MAID") which is kinda odd????

any hint would be helpful

AMECO appears to be a civilian leather jacket manufacturer. A Google search for AMECO leather jacket brings up a few but this is the best hit - most of the ones I found were on sale or sold in the Far East.

From the cut I would've guessed more 1990s - but its hard to say from just the two photos really.

maybe also 90ies might fit - my dating was just a guess

I would have guessed an eighties fashion take on a sort of quasi-military style, though it could be early 90s if it was made in the US or designed for a US market.
