Which set of pictures?

ummm...Left, right....Are you guys talking about the pic with the 3 ties, or the two small pics below?
Oh, sorry! I was referring to the results of your 'super-amazing Photoshop skills'. ;) (In other words, I was talking about the pictures of you with a tie superimposed over each one.)

Come to think of it, one of the colors of the tie in the picture on the left seems to echo the color of your suit, which makes it work, somehow.

I generally favor a more conservatie approach as well...But that orange and cream tie is just too sharp... try to find a light khaki shirt to go with it!

If you haven't already (and forgive me if I missed mention of it!) check inside the interior pockets of the jacket. Tailors, especially, are known for tagging items in that unobtrusive way. Sometimes it's just a number... sometimes the tailor's name, customer's name and date commissioned!

Sharp suit! I like the blue tie with it, but I'd love to see a bow tie! ;)

Oh.. and I wanted to mention that women's clothing from this era tends to have much less shallow arm holes than modern... sound like men's are the same? I admit, I'm not as familiar with vintage menswear.

Hey,

Yup, I have checked the inside pockets and there are no tags to be found. The only markings to be found is the stamp on the pocket of the pants that read.

Wouldn't that be awesome if it was a date stamp! :D

Anyway, I have been looking for a bowtie around the city and they are VERY hard to find. All the vintage stores have are the clip on ones, and a new one runs about $75.

I am going to try and track down the perfect red, or blue bowtie for it.
