i think 1938 dobbs fedora

i just won this on ebay for $30 from the liner i think its from 1938.
ive never seen a fedora ribbon that has a bow on the back does anyone have any ideas on the stle of this hat .
the original price tag has $10 on it any help appreciated

I have a couple of back bows, both 50s lids. Though I think I've read here in a couple of places the style came and went a couple of times before that, as well.

From the style, I would say that it's overwhelmingly likely that it's not.
If it's a larger size, then it's almost positively not a "woman's" hat.
Furthermore, it was made for Jack Henry Clothiers of Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, which was a store that exclusively specialized in selling only men's hats and accessories, which should pretty much absolutely make it a men's hat.

lol thanks for the reassurance and the link 40cal it seems it is from the 50s and was a lower end hat but never the less im going to enjoy wearing it as i do all my hats

Of course, anyone can wear anything, and anyone can sell anything as anything, but it's really unlikely that a hat such as that would have been sold as a "women's" hat until much more recent years.

Agree,Henry's was pretty specialized.
