That is a beauty. I like that it has some of the streamlining for the body and I think they call it "clamshell" type fenders that makes it an iconic styling of the time.

My grandfather drove a '36 Chevy for over 25 years -- that's a quarter-century of Maine winters, and it was still solid when he finally sold it off. And the rest of his life he regretted selling it.

That 34 to 41 period is do interesting in terms of styling. 1934 the grills still just looked like radiators, in 36 the front was completely rounded off, and by 40 and 41 the grills started evolving to the horizontal chrome sculptures we associate with the 50's.

You'd be surprised - in the 30s whitewalls were virtually unheard of. You hardly even saw them in magazine ads!
