I've got an interview on Friday myself, but I'm reluctant to jump into working for someone else again after my last job. I hope to make a go of it as an artist, and not have to put up with another cheapskate boss.

It's a pagination job, basically putting the magazine together layout-wise. It's the same thing I did at the newspaper back in Philly but THR is paying a lot more than my old job

Is the location Museum Square on Wilshire? The grand old Reporter bldg. in Hollywood is now the L. A. Weakly compound (with enough barb wire for a ranch), isn't it? Good luck no matter where. And if you could use an old paste-up boy (who switched to the Mac), I can still wield an exacto...
But it seems like no one wants the old man anymore and I have been told by production managers "the boss won't let me hire anyone but kids, when I want your experience", and I'm not asking for the sky and a pony either.
