HWT experience on suede leather

Hi there, does anbody have experience with hot water treatment on suede leather. it's a middle weight goat, varsity style jacket. thanks!

Wh... No! Isn't water a big problem for suede? It soaks it right up and it stains, I think?

It sure does. In fact, they make water resistant sprays to help protect suede from staining and wet conditions. The hot water treatment would surely ruin it.
