Hunting Hitler on the History Channel

Cover story to support the faked Hitler demise. Yeah, that's it . . . .

The "Hitler got away" story is fascinating mostly because of it's longevity. I suspect that it's a sort of story that is told simply because it WAS told, history as an Ouroboros (that snake eating its tail symbol). I may have said this a while back but "who cares if Hitler got away?" What was an interesting idea in the '60s or '70s is a non starter today. The man would be over 130 years old, certainly dead in his South American or South Asian hide-away if he actually made it out of Berlin. In the past 76 years he has had no further impact on history. In his case death is appropriate cosmic justice, but so is becoming inconsequential. Thank god but "nazi" has mostly become an empty epithet, an ugly accusation but not politically credible in it's old National Socialist sense. I enjoy these stories as much as anyone as STORIES but the interesting part is the human psychology that keeps them interesting. We grow to understand the world in stories. Our only way to see the future is through stories. Some stick with us because we are attuned to cautionary tales. That's good because there is a lot to be cautious about.

Yes. And, of course, many people love a good conspiracy theory. Me too. See the Agents of F.L.A.S.K. Thread. …It only becomes problematic when people take it as more than a good yarn that sheds light on society’s hopes and fears. Some people truly believe these conspiracy theories because they crave having access/insight into an elite/secret truth that the masses don’t understand. It gives the conspiracy fellow-traveller a sense of power and superiority, even if mistaken. That’s why people smile nervously at these conspiracy theories. You can never be 100% sure if the teller just enjoys a good story or if he’s actually a bit off his rocker and maybe even dangerous.

Gestapo-Müller would have been the way more spooky robber pistol.
I’m sure they’ll dig him out one sunny day constructing a new urinal somewhere near the former Prinz Albrecht Palais, similar to Martin Bormann.

I chanced upon a quatrain of Nostradamus while in college, forget the applicable
century chapter, but that passage mentions Hitler by name:

The evil Hiser...
When the child of Germany knows no laws.

Padre Pio de Pietrelcina
was questioned at his monastery in 1945 as to Hitler's
future and he replied "Death."

Hitler reportedly was shown the prophecy and recognized himself.

The really disturbing thought is this: regardless of what became of the physical Hitler, he remains the defining figure of the twentieth century, and his shadow continues to fall, in all its malignity, over the twenty-first. That he was once an actual man, a short, flatulent man with bad teeth, is almost irrelevant to what he continues to represent about humanity and its capacity for evil.

Personal reports/scripts of soldiers from WW I are showing the evidence, how he really was. Zero empathy, pure black-white mind. Always sitting around and reading, when nothing to do.

Calm, when ordinary things were going on, raging enthusiasm, when important, dangerous, heroic stuff started.

Napoleonic complex in it's baddest manifestation.

Throughout History ever since the Paleolithic Age when man stepped outside
his cave, earth has been a slaughterhouse. The American Civil War introduced
manufacture advance in rifled musketry and cannon. Antietam cost an estimate
23,000 men killed or wounded in one day Sept 16-17, 1862. A history professor
of mine tallied the First World War casualties at 10,000 per diem 1914-18.
The Second World War took a reported 25,000,000 souls civil and military.
But despite evil in all its incarnation there is good. Mankind wrestled its soul
away from Satan. Churchill; warts aplenty like all men, but indomitable
stands stark contrast to Hitler and the butcher of Ukraine Joseph Stalin.

Hitler was a child of Austria, not Germany.

Nostradamus inked his prophetic quatrains in 16th Century France; often scripted depictive scenes
as visualized to convey his impression of certain events; here, he names his subject, which exceptioned
his usual practice. And as Chancellor of Germany Hitler led the slaughter.
