How to go to the restroom whilst wearing foundation garments...

My G'ma always put on a pair of "boxer short" type "silkies". I want to say she reffered to them as her "Tap Pants"! but upon attempting to get into this whole "foundation garments" thing down, for the better looks of the dresses & such, I have attempted to find these items (ie "Tap Pants" or "Silkies")& can't! SO,now comes.... my daughter! (a quick wited 32 year old!) said to me "Mom, you can get men's silk boxer shorts at any of the big 3 stores!![walmart,kmart,kohl's]That would be PERFECT for your delema!" I said "yeah but i don't want that huge peice of elastic gathered band around the waist area as I already have the "lady lumps" of middle age vieing(sp) for that area!"HA! she then says to me "well,use the seam ripper to get that area free, take out the elastic & put in your draw string like what we use on our pantaloons for the other reenactments we participate in!DugH!Besides!that will lengthen the croch to waist depth for your added comfort as well!" oh so smart! They are actually just called 'Camisole knickers' these days are are still widely available. French knickers is another variation which is still in most good lingerie shops today. I saw some awesome tap-pant style of undies in a department store the other day and they had such a lovely vintage feel to them.

*****THESE are what I've been running all over the country side for! theses are actually really pretty! but during WW2 they were a bit more toned down! (however....we're not going 100% WW2 are we!?afterall,we do have some luxierious tastes don't we!??[huh] I now I do! )

Oh I have some old Sears catalogues from the 30s and 40s and there were some very pretty ones like this back then too.

I have been going "commando" always at night. a few years ago on the Tyra show she had a woman gyno doc who spoke specifically about panties.
she pretty much told me exactly what my OB doc told me when I was pregnant with my first child in 1980... things gotta air out down there!

I have never forgotten that and only after years of wearing skin tight jeans <ugh> in my younger days, I learned the hard way
as for thongs aka butt floss? I would never. I figure if anyone wants to go that bare, they may as well go withOUT lol
