in College Station. Might be able to make a trip up to Dallas.
I have a school dance to chaperone, and being that I'm new there, I'm not sure if I could just pop in for an hour and make an appearance and then leave. But if not the dance is over at 9pm and I could always meet y'all in FW around 9:30 if several of y'all decide to go.rubyredlocks said:Good idea!
This event in october is a great one.I'm rather bummed that it coincides with a concert I'm taking my husband to,so we'll miss it.

Very cool! Awesome that your family line goes back that far. I"m something like 6th or 7th generation Texan as well, but I really do need to ask more about our family history in relation to the Road to Texas' independence.Patrick said:Victoria. Was born here. I'm 6th generation. My kin folk settled here on the banks of the Guadalupe river back in 1824 when Texas was still Mexico's northern frontier. We've been here ever since except for a breef period during the war for independence from Mexico.
