How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I got this Mister Freedom Ringo in the mail yesterday but I'm not sure about the size. I feel like it might be too small, but that a size up might not be a good fit either? Maybe the pattern just isn't for me. Here are some pics, if anyone could give me their input that would be great. This is a size 42 and I'm 6'4, 200lb. I wouldn’t change a single thing about that fit in the body for you. It’s perfect. I assume the only place where you feel it’s too small is the sleeve length, but even that isn’t bad. It’s a keeper if I was you.

Another new one I’m considering. Is this a brimaco?
It does look like it? If the price is right, then it is a good choice. I have seen several Vanson Road Kings for about $450. The Vanson RK is a bargain for sub-$700 used. I paid over 1k delivered some 5 years ago? I currently own three, two large and one medium. The new large ones are spoken for. Two Mexico City friends have claimed them. I am in the hunt for another one. I like both sizes, one for the winter and the other for summer. This model was originally introduced in 1946. Love it.

Mister Freedom Ringo

It looks a just a tad on the short side in the sleeves to me but good everywhere else.

What I will say is I have this jacket in the Natural/Randal and the sleeves felt too long when it arrived and they've definitely shortened with wear, the whole jacket fits a little smaller after getting wet a few times and a lot of sun. I don't know if the black will age in the same way but maybe something to consider.

Storm Rider arrived too small and sold it in a hour.

The Polo rip fits great though so I’ll settle for the version without any provenance!

Ralph does a solid job ripping the OG patterns with subtle modern tweaks.

I know it looks good in pictures but it feels constricting all over and I do think the sleeves will end up too short. I'm returning it and will try a 44. My only concern is that the shoulder seams will droop too far down off my shoulder with a 44.

It fits in terms of shoulders, body and sleeves but it is not a very flattering jacket by design.. not a great pattern IMHO. Don't think sizing up will fix that either.

Honestly, I just got absolutely hosed at the post office on duties trying to return the jacket (live in Canada) so I am leaning towards just getting a refund now in case the replacement 44 doesn't fit either. I think the jacket looks cool but I don't like the way it feels on me or fits me. Looks fine in static positions in photos but actual movement is a different story for me.

I don't know how tall guys like you buy off the rack, must be a challenge sometimes.

It's a lot of expensive mistakes tbh. I guess I will keep my eyes peeled around here for any deals. I still have a jacket itch that needs to be scratched.

I keep buying stuff that I sold over again. I’ve had three of these pioneer wear sherpas and decided I didn’t need them:
Today I woke up in a panic that I didn’t have one. LOL. Why?

4th time will surely be a charm. Fortunately they aren’t expensive or that hard to come by.

I made an offer on it hoping the buyer wouldn’t accept, but he did. One more for the collection!

The more I look at it I’m not sure. It has a black belt buckler, brass hardware, plain lining and cuff latches.

Not complaining, this jacket looks cool, just curious as to whether this could be another maker

This looks cool, I couldn't see any eel, but stingray and lizard are visible. Where did you get it from?
Oh sorry you’re right, I meant seal not eel (Claude translated it to strongest / seal), so I thought seal was more likely.

Just got it used, which is why I know nothing about this jacket, but I’m so curious because I’ve never seen one like it

Picked up my 4th Schott today, the 562 in dark chocolate brown. I needed a piece that could handle colder temps, and it has a wool lining. It might be the best fit of my four Schotts, pics to come.
