I’ve got this one coming from a fellow in Japan I found on IG. Price was quite reasonable and a very nice fellow indeed. Some minor mods were requested but his type 3 pattern is perhaps the best I’ve seen!

„Test“ Jacket in black horsehide. I already own a pre-owned Test so that took the risk of sizing issues out of the equation. I like the classic lines of the style. I also looked at his Buco J25 and the Suburban for a moment but settled for the Test in the end. That being said, still keep looking at the J25….

I’ve got this 1940s? Double ******ed wool mackinaw jacket coming from eBay soon. Got it as a birthday present for myself, courtesy of my wife. Unfortunately there’s no label and the seller said the buttons look like they’ve been replaced so I have no idea about the manufacturer or date. I love these old heavy wool jackets. They’re quickly becoming my favorite. Too bad I’ve got at least five months left of warm weather before I can wear it lol
