As worn,I kind of need this.
There are numerous hidden inside pockets, even inside the lining to protect valuables against dirty pick picketers. Badass

I don’t hear much about this brand and besides a few floating around Etsy, haven’t seen many. I really like it though. The deer is phenomenal. Soft and light as a feather. The jacket fits well, my only beef is the back, which seems a bit shapeless. It’s like wrapping yourself in deerskin blanket. I think it looks pretty cool. I look forward to wearing it!Nice one! I think Jerry's may be underrated.
Did you score this on eBay?Jansha trading co. I had this exact jacket in suede. Finished side looks great! Not really my style but love the looks of the hide.

Poshmark, though it well could’ve been on eBay. This is the second Jansha I’ve had. I had a suede halfbelt too. They are nice jackets for sure, these styles don’t turn up too often.Did you score this on eBay?
I saw one like it recently, and was watching it as a reminder to look for one in my size.

I see some fringed hippie jackets from them now and again. I don’t think making jackets was a priority for this company. I believe the bulk of their biz came from selling or processing hides, makes gloves, wallets, etc.
I know, lol I've seen even more asking 8-900That price. LOL.

forgot to update. The seller cancelled the sale the same day. I was crushed!Just bought this. Sleeve less braided trim, steerhide Hercules.. this is the Roughwear version. I have a CSC version with sleeves. Just had to have it. I don't recall these were done in horsehide.

This is an example of a Roughwear leather tag.

Yep, familiar piece here. I have owned ~ 3 of these, none now however.Early 2000’s HD Basic Skins made in USA . Aerofan_07 did a review on this jacket model a few years ago and influenced my decision to get one. Correction- 9 years ago.

. I had this HD Shovel head jacket a few years ago that I realily liked how it fit but moved it along. I had seen this Basic Skins model for a long time and happened upon an aggressive seller eager to sell it. Hoping it fits the same in 2XL.Yep, familiar piece here. I have owned ~ 3 of these, none now however.
That hide looks spectacular!!Just about the time I was not going to pick up anything more, I made a wild toss bid on this one and won it. At least I think this Cal should fit. Any clues on the "tag name?" It looks like a true-Cal-Leather but maybe made for a store?

Here is the inside tag @tmitchell59 - I see "Milne Bass" but rest is hard to make out?
