Agreed. Most the stuff looks like typical 80’s era run of the mill bike jackets, complete with vents, mesh, etc. this Trojan almost looks as if somebody mistakenly put a protech label in itI am also curious. This is the only, and I mean only, Protech jacket that has caught my attention. Very cool find.
The NZ workshop (The Few) made really nice stuff. I've got a few pieces on the used market. They're quite expensive for used jackets. Still looking for a Indie jacket to go with the new movie.I got this the Few A-2 (left) back in Jan. The hh is unlike the other 3 the Few hh jackets i have. The leather on this one is so close to the shiniki. For comparison, jacket on the right is RM ANJ3A. I bought the A-2 2nd hand so have trouble confirming the hh used. John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Wow, that is really interesting Terry, did all that paperwork come with a vest?got this last night. I like the patina, zip front, zip pocket, side cinches.

The catalog I already had. I'm thinking 50s with that transition zipper. This vest is not in the catalog I pictured.Wow, that is really interesting Terry, did all that paperwork come with a vest?
It has Crown or Coats & Clark pocket zippers, which you don't see very often.
Deerskin holds up really well, obvious discoloration and patina from age but it looks supple
That's the best looking 689 I've ever seen . Must be a big 40.. it almost fits perfectly but then seems tight ...crazy !!Too tight! Kinda figured but Schotts HH is just superb! I love it. I need this one a size up. This is an older 689 H. Doesn’t have the snaps to secure the collar (which I prefer not having). I’ll more than likely be looking to move this one along and grab a size up.

It’s a beautiful jacket. The new owner should be insanely pleased. I hope it fits him! That's the best looking 689 I've ever seen . Must be a big 40.. it almost fits perfectly but then seems tight ...crazy !!

Cross zips don’t usually do it for me but that just looks so class, really understated!I got in touch with Rob over at Eastman again regarding a sized up Windward (size 42 this time).
My size 40 went back to @Fonzie who I think has regretted the trade we made a few years ago, he has mentioned it more than a few times in our PMs since lol.
I'm glad it's going back to him, it's a great jacket. It not only looks great but the under arm gussets give it the best maneuverability / range of motion for your arms that I've had on ANY jacket, by far!
Anyway, after I decided to stick with the black colour this time again, Rob informed me they were out of stock of that size and it would take about 3-4 weeks to have another one made.
True to his word, Rob got back in touch 3.5 weeks later and its on its way to me! Just in time for the turn to cooler weather here.
Here is the stock photo, I'll post up a fit pic and a comparison fit pic between the 40 and 42 when it arrives.
