Looks great, stop worrying(little big or little small who cares!!?)and enjoy the jacket!!
I think you and I are the same size. What is the P2P on that one? 23.5"? I also think that's how these jackets are suppose to fit. It looks like a jacket that is made for you. I am jealous and cant wait to get my Langlitz. You actually might be one of the first ones getting a 75 anniversary label, check with them. They should really number these for the special year.Thank y’all for the kind responses. I’ll admit I’m not sure about how big the top end is? It’s a pretty big chest measurement for me, along with those big arms.
Here are some better quality outdoor pics I took (along with this hat I got too, really like it!). Is concern over the area circled in red nitpicking or something I should bring to Scott?

John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Langlitz jackets are just kind of round. I think that’s just the way it is. With the exception of a few models in their line up, the overall shape is a bit of an oval. Preferable or not…It’s just different than more fitted styles. I’ll be totally honest and say that if that were mine, I would return it for an alteration or remake. If anything the jacket will become looser feeling and looking as it softens and drapes. I have never seen a jacket that is too large shrink to fit when broken in. I would say you should expect the opposite. Thanks man!
Yeah it’s 23” ptp against my 41” (20.5”) chest, which is the biggest of any jacket that I have.
The sleeve and body length are both spot on in my opinion, more evidence supporting everyone saying that this is the expected fit / look.
I’m planning on sending a thanks email to Scott with some fit pics included and leave it at that.
It feels very comfortable to wear. If day 1 is always the worst-looking and feeling, this one will be something special down the line.
Getting me excited for my Langlitz. Took me about 3 custom Langlitz jackets to dial in the fit. I kept trying and did not give up and glad I didnt. May I ask what the back length is and your height? Been going back and forth dipped vs straight cut bottom back. Your length looks really great!Langlitz Columbia finally arrived today!
First impression- they nailed it!
I’ll have to figure out where I like the waist laces, but other than that it just needs some use and abuse. Leather is quite stiff and so are the zippers. Movement is easy due to the sorta oversized top end. @Carlos840 was right about doing yoga in it, and mine isn’t even broken in! See below for demonstration at the expense of my dignity
This is a standard Columbia modified with no action back and square cut back bottom.
Here are some terrible pics, I’ll aim for a more complete review post down the line.

3rd from Langlitz? One of the reasons I’ve avoided the temptation with them and ordering a sidewinder is they seem to miss/ oversize as a rule, rather than the exception.Getting me excited for my Langlitz. Yeah this is 4. Two Columbias and one cascade before this.3rd from Langlitz? One of the reasons I’ve avoided the temptation with them and ordering a sidewinder is they seem to miss/ oversize as a rule, rather than the exception.

What a beautiful Columbia! I think it looks great and I think that some extra room up top is necessary to allow for movement, especially without the action back.
Only you can decide what is too much room for you and so I think you should wear the hell out of it for a couple weeks and see if it settles down and molds to your shape. I am almost positive that this is what Langlitz is going to recommend as well. That is what they told me when my first Columbia came out a bit too tight and I followed their guidance. In the end I did choose a remake and they lived up to their guarantee 100%.
Not always Ton, both of my Langlitz jackets (Columbia and straight zip Cascade) were made too tight the first time around. Not so tight that I couldn’t zip them, in fact they both looked great in photos, but tight enough to give me that leather corset sensation that I couldn’t live with.3rd from Langlitz? I’m eager to see how this works out. I think the jacket looks great as is and the nice thing about the Langlitz guarantee is that you can follow up with them a couple months from now and they will do what it takes to make sure you are satisfied with your jacket. You were completely correct.
They said this happens a lot and recommended breaking it in and checking back in a few months.
So that’s what I’ll do!
@Mrfrown and @El Marro, how did you find the measuring process? Did you schedule a video consultation? I placed my deposit in March. I still need to get my measurements over to Langlitz.I’m eager to see how this works out. I was impressed by the thoroughness of the measuring process, i.e. how many measurements they collected at different parts of the arms and torso. However I was not so impressed when both of my jackets arrived too tight through the midsection despite the fact that I had requested a relaxed fit both times.
After my first few failed attempts i sent pics of jackets with measurements and told them what i wanted. I was also making slight changes to previous jackets they built so i think they used that info more. Scott was great regarding my pics sent and details. First jacket based just on numbers sent the arms were huge and long and shoulders too wide. I think the trim looking jackets online are either spec tight/trim OR try on was done in shop and then they just adjust those base specs for the custom build. @hondurasdave47I was impressed by the thoroughness of the measuring process, i.e. how many measurements they collected at different parts of the arms and torso. They did not offer a video consultation when I placed my orders but I think that sounds like a great idea and I would take advantage of this option if I were you.
@hondurasdave47 I know that you have your fair share of leather jackets already and you might take some measurements off the ones that you particularly like and provide those to Langlitz, P2P and bottom hem for instance. I know this is not how they typically work but if they had that baseline going in it might help them to nail the fit. More likely they will just think you are an annoying jacket nerd…
