How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

This morning I bought this womens Harro, probably 70s. Bought it from the first owner, a really nice German lady. When I told her that I collect leather jackets she looked at me like I was nuts. "But why do you want this one, it sure won't fit".

Turns out it's a perfect fit for my girlfriend. Although she thinks it a bit heavy, she likes it a lot. Great leather and very well made. @Robbie79 I think this is the women's version of the Harro you bought last week.

This is Harro's lighter leather, same my gf's jacket is made of. But it's not light at all, just softer and a bit more silky than regular Harro.
Man, it's made SO well.

I just received this Eastman A1 capeskin flight jacket. The smell of the vegetable tanned leather is intoxicating. The moment I opened the pouch it brought back memories of the many leather workshops I've visited in Florence.

The leather is lightweight but not at all flimsy. It pickes up scratches really easily but I think that's part of the charm of the jacket.

This is a pic af a well worn Eastman A1 @John Lever posted some time ago. I hope my jacket will look like this some day :)

@Marc mndt Congrats. Looks really nice and I can imagine how it smells :) Condition seems to be really good. And here comes the question of all questions. How does it fit?

You had to do this so early on this Monday! One thing I love about your posts is those pictures capturing details and that stunning leather! Never been to a workshop in Florence but just the thought of that smell makes me plan a trip as soon as it's safe.

I bought this jacket second hand but it was listed as 'new without tags'. Considering how easy this jacket picks up scratches, I really think it has never been worn.

It's a t-shirt only fit. The sleeves are narrow and the armholes are really high. I can see why people would size up with this fit. But for me personally, I think sizing up would make it look blousy. I'm 100% happy with the fit of the 42, which is my regular size. I'll post some fitpics later this week.

The capeskin from the premium manufacturers is great. Jacket looks in amazing shape.

Nice one, Marc! I thought you would be happy with a 42, considering you like your jackets short and trim. Fit pix eagerly awaited. Just cannot go wrong with ELC.

@Marc mndt for the IG and coming your way, the real deal, styled and made in the west.

And after. Strong vintage horse. The kind that can’t be duplicated, replicated or faked. Beautiful!
