How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I've been lusting after this Hinoya, house branded, blanket lined denim jacket for a while. Not sure if I'll pull the trigger or not yet.

I'm waiting on a Cropduster from Aero but they are not working right now.

It looks like it got cut and made it to production, but won't get completed till they are back in the factory.

So after spending the last couple years drooling over JMax’s Octagon Chopper I finally ordered one for myself. For anyone who is not familiar with the jacket in question, here is a photo posted by JMax:

As I mentioned above, I have been drooling over this jacket ever since I first saw it posted here. But since I already have a Chopper in black comp. weight it seemed a little excessive order another one in a different hide.
At least that’s what I thought until yesterday when Constantine called me from Vanson to confirm shipping on an order I had placed for some of the cloth masks that they are now making. (FYI at the moment Vanson is only making cloth masks and Constantine told me that they are being inundated with orders). I had spoken to Constantine last year when I ordered my Commando and found him to be a real pleasure to work with. We talked a bit about that and he asked me if there was anything I was interested in in the jacket world at the moment.
Well it didn’t take much to get me going and I asked him about the Chopper they had made for JMax. Once I shot him a picture of the jacket he knew exactly which one I meant and we talked for about a half an hour on the phone reviewing all of the options for the build as well as his and my thoughts on our little world of leather jackets. As others have said, Constantine is an absolute pleasure to talk to and it is obvious that he really loves what he does and is just as into these jackets as we are. I encouraged him to consider joining the fedora lounge because I think it would be very interesting to get his perspective on things from time to time.
Once all the details were hashed out I put down my deposit. This is where things got interesting, because of the current situation the folks at Vanson do not know when they will be getting back into the jacket making business. Constantine told me that his best guess was they hope to have my jacket made by the end of June. I told him that I was not naturally the most patient person but considering current circumstances I understood that there are no guarantees whatsoever when it comes to timeline.
Well I’m very excited, and whenever it gets here I’m sure it will be something special. Thank you JMax for posting that beautiful jacket time and time again, I think the last time did the trick and now I’ve got my own on order!

I also spoke with Constantine recently- considering a Enfield Royale or ordering a custom Arrow in Octagon. I have to say, i actually gasped the first time I saw that chopper that @JMax has in Octagon and it got me thinking.

I’m with @ton312 and have been thinking the larger companies will have to drop prices so I’m hesitant to move on a new Vanson now.

The purchase I ended up going for is just such a stellar deal - Aero Vicenza in my size in a style I’ve been looking for at over 50%+ off regular price and on my birthday- it all came together.

Good choice. Check out the oxford too. I’m sure you did but just in case.

I did indeed and thanks for the suggestion. I saw @Jejupe post about when he got his custom Oxford in Octagon. Actually started the call talking about Oxford and Arrow then the Enfield came up in conversation.

Happy Birthday!
Isn’t it cool when everything comes together just at the right place and the right time like that? It’s pretty rare but that makes it feel even more special when it does happen, congratulations man.

I just back from the leather workshop where i have my order, to decide things construction wise since vegtan leather I bought myself is thick and not pliable enough, so we talk about possibilities and solution, and i decided to have more raw edges throughout the jacket that I plan to buff myself with edge finisher and slicker, I also pick zipper color and drop the fabric for lining.

Jacket is a great fit to my surprise. Short for a supposedly L version but perfect length for me. Pants are gonna be a little tight. Gained some weight and my jeans are a little tight. I compared them to the LVC I am wearing and they are almost identical in waist but leather don't stretch like cotton. I don't think I am gonna wear the pants cos they are too long anyway.

It looks pretty long on the photo. Reminds me of LW. I mean, considering most of the regular 40's are like 23-24" back, Long should be 26", I think? Shame about the pants. Man, I'd live in those things. It's still my dream to find those perfect ones that I actually would wear. But that's a really cool jacket, something special you got there.

Hahah! Well I’ve seen some of his posts in What Jacket Are You Wearing (as I’m sure you have)...if it was nice enough that he was just putting it on to enjoy the fit, must be something special. Congrats
