Let’s face it. It’s far from the strangest/ worst thing I’ve bought. Far, far from it.
Yeah I can achieve that with a few swipes of the razor. Needs to be a fat ‘85 Ditka style. You will need to grow a cop 'stache.
Or maybe Sirens sweetly singing.@ton312 the universe is telling you something here...let it go, buddy.

John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Very cool jacket. Leather looks awesome.
Looks pretty darn fantastic! Couple simple fixes and that’s good to go. You say you ordered something AND it was delivered!?? Clearly you aren’t being served by the nations finest set of postal workers. The slack jawed troglodytes who serve out of Chicago’s notorious uptown post office.

quote: This is something very, very special. I think. Before restoring it, I'd try to find out what exactly is it. It's definitely very old and I'd bet on the 50's. Might be a real collectors piece. Either way, it's a fantastic looking jacket. Fits you just right!
Thanks! I don't know where to get any more clues to identify it. Zippers are Conmar, that's a fact, but of course there are no tags, only the remnants of what looks like a thinsulate red lining...

Hi, I’m pretty certain it’s a 40’s/50’s Grais jacket. I have a very similar one. I’ll try to post Picts on pm.
Yeah I agree HD. I also wouldn’t call Taylor’s Leatherwear premium either. At least from this example. While it’s certainly well built and super functional, and despite being fairly heavy, the leather has a corrected feel and look. Great for shoveling snow, concealing movie candy contraband, but no show pony. Not by a long shot! LOL.I agree. In my view elastic seems to cheapen an otherwise premium jacket.
