Apologies if @Bennarion (because of course) has already posted this on the Finds And Deals thread and I've missed it, but I've been eyeing this Schott for a bit now.

It appears to be a CHP style cross zip, with side laces instead of a belt - but it's brown. I like that, but had no idea it was a thing.

Thoughts?

I believe that’s a Schott 125 no? They are nice but the squared rear lower panel always looked odd to me.

I think it's not a CHP but more a brown classic Perfecto.
It appears in brown it's called a 115:

Mine had a model number 125 as well but yeah, it's just a belt-less Schott Perfecto with side laces. The idea behind these was so that you could use the belt you wanted - or none at all. I've actually seen more brown 125's than black.

Actually you are right, model number doesn't vary by colour but by year:

From Gail: 125 has a zip-out liner and the 115 has a quilt lining. We have made both these Naked Cowhide styles in our line throughout the years. The 125 starting in 1978 to 2014, the 115 in 1983 & 1984. The 615 Steerhide version were from 1970-1979, then again in 1985 & 1986. The 625 was only offered in 1978.

Nice! Justin Theroux has one in black, looks rad. If you're not a fan and its a 22" P2P (ish) gimme a shout.

Theroux is how I found out about the brand. :) Actually truly fantastic jacket. Heavy-ish, beautiful leather, crazy warm. It fits me everywhere just perfectly except that the gut is 10" too roomy. I think it'd be the same for anyone. Were these custom made or something? I'm still trying to decide whether to have it tailored or sell it. I doubt I'll see one soon, though...

The dude rocks a CR.

I didn't think they were, but that's a pretty wack measurement. Theroux's one will be custom or at least very expensively tailored.

I think if you were to get something done to a leather jacket, that's one of the 'easier' fixes. Might be worth enquiring about if you like everything else about it.

That's what I am thinking, looking at the photos again. There's just no way a regular size in which this jacket fits anyone that good, exists. Only makes sense, though...

I love everything else about it. That's why I'm so reluctant to just resell it for what would only be a nice little profit.

No wonder Theroux switched to these guys from that Fidelity. This CR is as good as anything vintage.

^^ Yep, Lesco immediately came to mind for me as well. An underrated brand. Lesco often sewed the tag into the zip-in lining. That’s why so many of them go unidentified by sellers, if the lining is missing.
